HVAC Training Institute
The HVAC Training Institute, Inc. is dedicated to presenting the basics of commercial air conditioning systems in an easy to understand format for architects, general contractors, developers, and others in the construction industry.
"The Basics of Commercial HVAC Systems" is a 4-hour class designed to teach commercial GC estimators, PM's, and superintendents a general overview of HAVC systems, why they're selected for buildings, comparing bids from HVAC subs, and HVAC and LEED. Class topics include: How to heat and cool building air; How air is delivered to the space; How to control the air to a space; How to read “M” drawings; Common HVAC systems and how they work; Constant volume package units; Constant volume split systems; Rooftop VAV; Self-contained VAV; Water source heat pumps; Hydronic systems – 4 pipe systems; What you missed on bid day; Green HVAC – HVAC and LEED.

LEED Professional Accreditation Program
LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) are building industry professionals who have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building and the LEED® Green Building Rating System™. The LEED AP credential indicates that the professional has the knowledge and skills to facilitate the LEED certification process. LEED Professional Accreditation is a voluntary designation achieved by over 60,000 individuals who have passed the LEED Professional Accreditation exam. The Green Building Certification Institute recommends that LEED AP candidates have building industry knowledge, as well as experience working with green building professionals from multiple disciplines.

National Labor Relations Board Notice Posting Rule
The National Labor Relations Board has issued a new rule requiring employers under its jurisdiction to post copies of a notice informing employees of rights guaranteed to them under the National Labor Relations Act. The notice must be posted in all places where notices to employees are customarily posted and on the internet or intranet if other personnel rules and policies are generally posted there. Such postings are not required until January 31, 2012. Both non-union signatory and signatory employers must post the notice. Employers under the jurisdiction of the NLRB are employers who expend or receive at least $50,000 in interstate commerce.

The explanations connected to the questions are straight from the books that are recommended by the contractors' board, that’s why everyone passes their state contractors license exam.
New Licensing Requirements in Nevada
If you hold a B2 license you need to upgrade to a B if you want to work on any project that is attached to or over 3 levels tall or that has a parking structure under it.
